With reference to BJ11/H19.12.24, in connection with item No. 1, namely, the switch under the instrument board, if having the switch placed in front of the instrument board is in any way likely to delay production or necessitate much redesigning, the alteration might be postponed until Series "W", leaving the switch under the instrument board of Series "V".

We shall be interested to hear whether the squeak of the front brakes has been satisfactorily overcome, and also the jagger with the clutch.

I shall be in Derby on Monday for the General Meeting, and shall be glad to see you during the afternoon.

I shall go straight to the Works after the Board Meeting, which follows immediately after the General Meeting.

I shall be interested to hear progress of the E.A.C. cars in general, and when you expect to have the E.A.C. "V" series car ready for the 10,000 miles test, and whether there is a chance of my testing it before it goes to France.
