WRAITH FOR Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} made the following complaints about his car:-

(1) Ventilation.

He is emphatic that he must have some sort of ventilation. I suggest that we try out the new type of ventilators before we put the Fisher scheme on the car which will necessitate holding up for some time.

(2) Rear Seating.

He does not like the leather rear seats. I recommend that we cover the seat with the green Bedford Cord to start with, and if this does not suit him, we then cover the squab.

(3) Brake Squeaks.

There is a servo squeak on this car. AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} has had the opportunity of hearing this squeak. Something must be done as soon as the opportunity occurs.

(4) Wind Noises.

The car is bad for wind noises and these should be put right.

(5) Wireless.

The wireless does not seem to be as good as that on B.III. One suspects it may be due to a loose aerial. Will you investigate.

(6) Tappets.

Tappets appear to be noisy on this car. In particular there is a bad clatter immediately when starting from cold. Will you please investigate this.
