DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/CB25-10-20. [Handwritten]: X-4195 Armoured Cars - Hand Barring Gear. Please receive two blue prints of "N" Sch: 622 shewing the arrangement of the sliding pinion, free wheel and supports for the above gear. Please put details in hand. Sufficient particulars of the gear ring on the clutch has already been supplied to you to enable you to order forgings. We should like to point out that if the aluminium bracket attached to the dashboard is made at once, and secured on the car before it is dispatched, and also the gear ring attached to the clutch, the fitting of this hand gear afterwards is a very simple matter.
