Dynamo charging fault and a request for replacement parts.

MK IS/RK21.3.48. The Dynamo is not charging. The commutator seemed OK. and I could not find any signs of a loose connection on the dynamo, battery, fusebox, or in the switchbox. The only cause I could trace it to was the possibility of a broken wire in the cut-out winding. Perhaps therefore W. would forward another cutout (or fuse box if applicable in this car) for the driver to fit, and if that does not cure the trouble N. can go more fully into it (see below). With the cut-out will W. please send a spare battery contact breaker points, and a spare field fuse, in glass tube, the first named being chargeable. MK.{R. E. B. Meade-King} | ||
