X1031 30, Benvarden Ave., Waterside, Londonderry. 2 Feby '27 Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Experimental Dept. Messrs Rolls-Royce, Ltd. Dear Sir, With reference to your letter of 1st Feby, I regret very much that I cannot accept the appointment for I regard the initial salary offered as being too low to enable me to recoup within a reasonable period the outlay incident to taking up residence in England. Nevertheless, the permanent salary offered seems fairly reasonable. I thank you sincerely for your kindness, and regret giving you unnecessary trouble. With many apologies, I remain, Your obedient servant, P. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Corr. [Over | ||
