We have got the back axle finished and fitted.
The front brakes are being changed back to the aluminium shoes. It is remarkable, but one cannot yet take a set of brake shoes off, and refit them without having to rebed. The anchorage of the brakes is altered every time it is taken off.

PETROL PUMPS

It is to be hoped that Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} instructed S.U. to send us a couple of pumps otherwise we are going to be in trouble. One pump has ceased to function twice since fitting. We realize that the ones sent had been on test a considerable time, but they are not giving us a fair chance of giving good results.

We have obtained a new wind screen, the price being 332Frs - £4.

We should be running again on Tuesday.
