P.11. FRONT SHOCK ABSORBERS.

We have tried out the scheme of lubricating the pin on the front shock damper arm by means of oil from the air vent. This was indicated in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}6/M7.11.30.

So far, this scheme seems most promising as we can get plenty of oil to lubricate this pin and there do not seem to be any disadvantages. We suggest it will be well worth incorporating in the damper as a permanent scheme.
