- 2 - in the fuel tank, and the oil in the oil tank, the latter reading on the oil scale being obtained on pressing a button. An oil temperature thermometer will not be required as this is something that does not interest the driver, and if the installation is satisfactorily arranged in the first place a safe oil temperature will never be exceeded. Baffles will be required in the tank, and we agree that they act to carry the heat from the oil to the outside shell, and should be combined with any cooling features added to the exterior.
