| 2. To By from Oy. June 3rd, 1916. We do not think it is necessary to harden the teeth of the sun wheel since it is so seldom used. Summarising, the information we should like is:- 1. Is it always the worm wheel and shaft which has failed? 2. Has the large worm wheel shaft failed? 3. What will the large shaft stand under a static test (a) in C.N.N.S., (b) in a high grade steel?
