RR 238 (150 BKS.) (SH57. 29-6-20.) MP 224358 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To 19 Order No. WA{Mr Wallis} 98 (2) Customer's No. The condition of the platinum points was considered to be unsatisfactory, it being found necessary, to avoid missing of the H.T., to trim these up after 5000 miles. Quite a considerable part of the metal has melted forming a raised pip on the lever point and a corresponding cavity on the screw point. It was also noticed that the majority of the exposed steel work inside the distributor was covered with a slight film of rust. N.B. The whole of the other parts of the distributor were standard. Signed: H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
