The condition of the platinum points was considered to be unsatisfactory, it being found necessary, to avoid missing of the H.T., to trim these up after 5000 miles. Quite a considerable part of the metal has melted forming a raised pip on the lever point and a corresponding cavity on the screw point.
It was also noticed that the majority of the exposed steel work inside the distributor was covered with a slight film of rust.
N.B. The whole of the other parts of the distributor were standard.
Signed: H.E.W.
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
