Messrs. Lucas Ltd.,
Great King Street,
BIRMINGHAM.

For the attention of Mr. Toulmin.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our 'phone conversation this morning concerning the third of the three special Lucas regulators, mounted on R.R. base and sub-base, as stated in our letter ref. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}15/JH.26.4.38. this unit was marked R.R. III, by scratching on the side, and returned to you by parcel post on April 21st.

On about the 28th. or 29th of April we again received it from you and concluded that everything was alright, as however, Mr. Toulmin stated over the 'phone that he would like to have this unit back, we are returning same under separate cover. Fortunately, we are able to return this exactly as received, complete with your Works labels still attached.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
