Re Analysis of Body Weights. 3½ Litre Bentley.

With reference to your NV2/IH/12.10.33, it would appear from the figures you give that on the Experimental cars you have used a varying chassis weight.

In the case of 2.B.3., you take the chassis weight as 22 cwt. 1.qr. 6 lbs. and in the case of 3.B.4., as 21 cwt. 2 qrs. 17 lbs.

In the case of all three trials cars, I took the chassis weight as 21 cwt. 3 qrs. 0 lbs.

I think that before any action is taken regarding weights we should get the weights of all the cars which are at Olympia immediately after the Show.

In the meantime, would Derby let me know if they agree with the chassis weight of 22 cwt. 3 qrs. 0 lbs., which includes one spare wheel, battery, petrol, oil and water, as being correct.

I have just weighed 4.B.4. and find the weight of the complete car is 25 cwt. 3 qrs. 24 lbs.
