Dear Hickling,

Many thanks for your letter of January 12th. containing further particulars of angular contact hub bearings. Hardy and I would both like to see you when you are next in Derby, to discuss one or two problems.

In the meantime, could you let me know how running under no load conditions on the Duplex bearing is progressing. Gearbox design will become considerably easier if this bearing will run for ever in top gear.
