To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}13/MJ.27.2.33. Handwritten notes: 4462 X2T, YU513 Re. BENSPORT. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E.22.2.33. We have already ordered a set of India tyres and these have been sent out to Chateaupoux. We expect it will be six or seven weeks before we shall require any more tyres. The tyres on Bensport will receive more punishment and rough useage than any of our other cars, and therefore we shall have to satisfy ourselves with them. It will therefore be quite impossible to try out a number of different makes. It would appear that we ought to try and use India tyres so that for the time being we shall not obtain any more Goodyear. We are always predjudiced in favour of Dunlop's because we have found them to be very much better equipped technically than any other tyre manufacturers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
