To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to EY. ORIGINAL Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LGA.9.23. AMERICAN ALTERATIONS. X4605 Are we right in assuming that we shall receive designs from WW. for some of the items referred to in R's memos. in connection with the above? As an instance - R.{Sir Henry Royce} states in 2274 - SHEET METAL PIPE AND WIRING CLIPS - 'We use sheet metal clips for modern design, and they are satisfactory if provided with good heels for bolting. I therefore agres and reconnend for adoption at Derby'. In this case, are we to expect a design from WW? There are a number of items of a similar nature - we should like to know how we are expected to deal with them. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
