JAMMING OF HAND BRAKE RATCHET MECHANISM BY FLYING STONES.
This matter has been dealt with by increasing the area and gauge of the guard, but in addition we are investigating this matter again to see whether there is some simpler way of protecting the parts adequately by a guard round the lever itself.

PROPELLER SHAFT VIBRATION.
The inclination of the axle has been arranged to overcome the slight vibration at between 55/60 miles an hour. It was due to the two joints not acting in parallel due to axle movement.
An adjustment has been made at the rear end to cover this.

PROGRAMME.
(a). 10.B.V. This was originally intended to have a close coupled Saloon, but as we required a Coupe body urgently, we arranged for the body intended for 12.B.V. to be allocated to 10.B.V.
This body has been delivered by Park Wards.

(b). 11.B.V. This chassis is arranged to take an 8 cylinder engine, and the body will be delivered May 6th.

(c). 12.B.V. The body for this chassis has been promised for delivery by May 13th.

PRODUCTION.
300 sets of material has been instructed for production.

COST OF PRODUCTION.
RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/FH.5.1.39. was to be investigated fully by L.S. and Tr.{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance}
