Dear Sirs,

For the attention of W.A.Robotham Esq.,

With reference to your letter dated 16th, addressed to our Mr. Skinner, who has handed it over to the writer to reply to, we would thank you for returning to us Piston Drawing No. E.84546 which the writer left in your office last Wednesday.

With reference to the drawing of the Aerolite Piston, this the writer did not bring away with him, but can remember seeing you taking this drawing, and putting it on the table behind you.

With reference to the loss of power on the Pistons which we propose to supply to you for test purposes, so far we have found no loss of power, in fact it has given increased power on initial test, but this may be due to the lack of friction when the engine is first started up, and it is quite possible that the loss of power with the aluminium pot type piston may be due to high spots on the bearing area, but up to the present time we have not made any comparative tests after the aluminium piston has been well worn in, but we believe you will be quite satisfied with the results of these Pistons with regard to power.

We are proceeding with all possible speed with the tools to make a Piston to replace yours, No. E.86632, in
