1245 W/P. Sr. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}12/R.16.12.36. We are rather disappointed in the Marchal Jacking arrangement that you have sent us. The parts fixed to the road springs are of very heavy construction, consisting of about three quarters of a hollow tube into which the jack fits. When you were over.here you described to us sheet metal runways, which we did not expect to weigh very much. Can you let us know whether the parts we have received are out-of-date, or more up-to-date than the ones you described ? The Marchal outfit weighs several times what we now fit to the Bentley.
