1227 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}4/MH.{M. Huckerby} 8th. July 1938. G.W.Todd, Esq. Shell-Mex & B.P. Ltd., Shell-Mex House, Victoria Embankment, LONDON, W.C.2. Dear Mr.Todd, Many thanks for your letter of July 6th. together with the information on shock absorber oils. I have discovered since you were here the other day that we discontinued two years ago tying labels on to our engines saying that they were either filled with Price's or Wakefield's oil. From now on we can promise you that our outside Inspectors will show complete impartiality over all the oils that are recommended in the instruction book. I hope you will have a satisfactory meeting next week and get some settlement over grease nomenclatures. Yours sincerely, | ||
