7th March 1939.

My dear Robotham,

As arranged by Mr. Mitchell I am very much looking forward to coming to see you at your Works to-morrow, Wednesday, before my "talk" in the evening. I now find that I have a very important business appointment here to-morrow, and shall not be able to leave Bourne until 3.0 p.m. All being well, I hope to arrive at your office at about 4.30 p.m. which should give us time to have a talk and have a look round your Works, which I should like to do very much.

A great personal friend of mine, Wing Commander Lester (who is the officer commanding Duxford Air Station) will be coming with me and I trust you will have no objection to this. As no doubt you will know, he is in charge of the Spitfires at Duxford.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

Raymond Mays
