CHILDS 6153 Motorola WORLD'S FINEST CAR RADIO WORLD RADIO LIMITED EDGWARE ROAD, LONDON, N.W.2 NEAR STAPLES CORNER 'Phones-GLADSTONE 4255-6 'Grams-PAPELIAN Phone LONDON YOUR REF. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}14/JH. July 18th :: 1939 OUR REF. WS1/085/R.{Sir Henry Royce} Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited. Experimental Department, DERBY. Attention - Mr. W.A. Robotham. Development Engineer - Chassis. Dear Sirs: We thank you for your letter of the 17th instant, and will arrange for the Model 9-49 MOTOROLA Car Radio together with the M-95B Running Board Aerial to be promptly despatched. We would mention that up to 1939 our undercar aerials are suitable in every way for the Bentley, as the Writer knows from his experience with his own Bentley car. A big feature of the M-95B Aerial is that it has flexible mounting brackets, so that should the aerial be brought up against obstructions at any time, it will not be wrenched off, but will give, and then return to its original position. The most popular type of Aerial in the States is the Side Telescopic type. We shall be very happy to send you up samples of all our Aerials, for your inspection, and await your news on this point. When the Radio Set has been received, we should like to send our Engineer along to your Works to finish off the installation and approve of same, and look forward to your comments. Yours faithfully, p.p. WORLD RADIO LIMITED.
