Will you kindly let us know whether this is so. p. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} [Handwritten Response] Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 28/5/13 We have not made test with the latest type cars. The 4 speed gear box will not make any difference to the maximum speed of car. We could get promise that a standard car with touring body would do 130 Kilometres per hour. The original L to R car fitted with L to R body did 125 Kilometres per hour on Brooklands in its official test and I think this is as good as we can do unless we alter the car from standard. Even so it would be a matter for special tests before we could definitely say whether the required speed could be obtained. *81-25 mph [Footer] This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
