3-B-IV.

Borg & Beck Clutch.

We have after measuring the fling out of the bolts, running the engine stationary, carried out tests on the road to determine whether the breakages occur on the road.

510 miles were run at speeds of 3,500 to 4,400 r.p.m. alternatively with no sign of the finger bolts breaking. The test had to be stopped owing to a seizure of a connecting rod.
