EXTRACT FROM R5/IB12715 of JULY 12th, 1915. RE X.601 - LODGE SPARKING PLUGS. With reference to the failure of the sparking plugs, we presume that these are Lodge porcelain ones. You do not state in what way they have failed, but we suppose that the porcelains have cracked. In the standard cylinders we propose to deliver, we hope the water cooling of the plugs will be found to be better. We imagine at the moment that you are using the old original cylinders with a poor water-way past the plug, some of which failed entirely through faulty manufacture. | ||
