Brake Drums for 32-EX.

Mr. Marriott has ordered a set of castings in R.R. cylinder liner iron for Ph.III brake drums, and also a pair of castings suitable for Bentley rear drum GE.100981.

Will you fit to 32-EX before it goes to France this set of brake drums if you have time to do so. They should be machined to the same drawings as those at present on the car.

Will you also make one Bentley rear drum. This is not to be fitted to a car but will be sent to Ferodo Ltd. for wear tests.

The reason for this is that we are not satisfied that "Millenite", though very expensive, is superior to other good quality irons.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/A.F. Martindale.
