The Ribbesford Co.Ltd., that the bearings and cages for the above experiment are nearing completion, and that delivery to us can be effected seven days after the receipt by them of the shaft and forks which we have promised them for assembly. It is understood that the production of these pieces, called for in BY/CRL.{C. R. Lisson}1/E.20.2.39, has been held up owing to the fact that forks of the latest type are only available in BZ/A.{Mr Adams} It is therefore agreed by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} and Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Hdy.{William Hardy} that the experiment should be made on one of the original boxes as fitted to 1.B.50 for which forks in S/ZN. are available. Therefore will you please send the necessary parts as soon as the new shaft GB.4779 is available. The parts in question are:- GB.3471 Operating Fork. 2 off.
