AIR SILENCER SUPPORT.
PH.III - FOUR PORT HEAD.

In reply to your memo. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Wym. {G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} 16/JH.14.5.37, the request for deletion of the bracket on the Air Silencer to carry the stays came from the Experimental Fitting Shop, and they assured us that tests had shown that the Air Silencer was satisfactory without the stays.

If this is not so, we require a proper report on the subject, as it will be necessary to add features to the induction pipes to carry the stays.

E {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} /PSN (with handwritten signature)
