W/N. To Br/Messervy. 1114 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.10/AP.14.7.37 You will remember that while I was at Cricklewood you asked me to provide you with some information with regard to cooling a 15.HP. marine engine - I have now obtained some figures on same. Unfortunately, you were not able to give me any data as to what your sea water circulating pump would do or what the general resistance to water flow in the engine circuit would be, however, by making certain assumptions the following particulars for a cooler given on attached sheet were arrived at. You may also remember that we arranged to set the radiator steam valve and remove the calorstat spring on Beaumont's Ph.III. car - this being all we could do for his overheating trouble without fitting any new parts - we should like to know whether any further complaint has been experienced from this customer.
