A.V. Nutt, Esq.,
St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} James's Chambers,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Nutt,

Re. Late P.V.C. Halliwell.

I enclose you herewith account from W. Walker & Son, Cragg Brow, Windermere, in respect of the coffin and conveyance to Portishead, amounting to £43. 7. 6. You will no doubt deal with this with the Estate and write to Messrs. Walker & Son saying that the matter shall have attention when the appropriate time arrives. I had the impression that this was the cost of the funeral at Portishead, but it would appear not to be so.

Yours faithfully,
