AERO ENGINES.
WATFORD MAGNETO.

I am pleased that this has done so well because -

(1) We need a second source.

(2) Watford people are good friends of ours and should be encouraged to keep going on this work.

I learn from Royce Ltd. that B.T.H. is now American controlled capital, and therefore I should think the Air Ministry would do well to favour more British concerns: other people do so.

I have repeatedly asked Mr. North to work at this, and got them some encouragement from the Air Ministry.

R.{Sir Henry Royce}
