Goshawk Electrical Equipment We give below for your information, copy of report received from our Mr. Wyer with regard to the above, to which we shall be glad if you will give your consideration. We shall be glad to have your comments on the suggested modifications. " We are not satisfied with the following points on the above system, and if you agree perhaps you will arrange to have them altered - 1. The 4-way branch on conduit on N.S. of chassis is too low and makes such a sharp bend, and also holds water, and will sooner or later chafe through. 2. The terminal on the low tension wire to distributor is constantly giving trouble by breaking off at end of terminal. Would suggest a supporting sleeve as on 40/50. 3. The low tension wire from coil to distributor hangs loose and unsupported and looks unsightly. Could be improved by threading through tube with other wires. 4. The bolts for holding down coil are too short and we cannot get a full nut. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. | ||
