- 4 - CLUTCH SLIPS. 25 HP. PH.II. TOTAL. GRAND TOTAL. REMARKS. June Quarter. C.C. 94 21 115) W.P. 6 5 11) 126 Slipping is often due to oil on the fabrics. Steps have been taken to delete automatic clutch spigot lubrication on 20/25 HP. cars. Depot sheets Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}185., Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}196. and Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}205. Pressure ring serrations are being modified to prevent binding. See Depot sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}242. Depot sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}254 describes treatment for clutch slip. Roller bearing now being fitted at one end of armature to replace ball bearing and a reduction in these complaints is anticipated. Three rate charge scheme is now standard on 20/25 HP. cars and should reduce dynamo complaints. Exceptional cases always arise where dynamo output is unsuitable. Voltage control on 40/50 HP. should be great help. Previous Quarter. C.C. 6 5 11) W.P. - 1 1) 12 Six Months. 20 11 31 31 TOTAL EXHAUST COMPLAINTS. June Quarter.
