Dear Sammons,

This is to confirm the results of our discussion today.

In order to enable us to lay out a power plant which will suit the vehicle we have in mind you will let us have an outline drawing of the dimensions which you consider to be desirable for a 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 poppet valve 2-stroke unit, to-gether with its attendant blower and injection pump.

We will then work up a project installing this unit and as soon as we have come to any definite conclusion with regard to the suitability of the stroke-bore ratio, we will come down to Slough and go further into the details of valve gear porting, combustion chamber, etc.

We also hope that during our visit you will be able to demonstrate to us a 2-stroke petrol injection unit idling at 300 r.p.m.

Yours sincerely,
