MARTINDALE 200 S/W. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}9/KW30.6.37. You will probably have seen in today's "Motor" the report of a test of the 4 1/4 litre Bentley. This test was made by Mr.Maurice Platt, who does all this work. Before we submitted the car to him for test we had the new brake cams added, in fact you will remember I asked you what you wanted to have done to the car prior to this test. It is disappointing, of course, to find that the brake test results are the worst we have ever had printed as far as I can remember, i.e. 40' from 30 m.p.h. The last "Autocar" test of the Bentley showed 30' from 30 m.p.h. I wonder if you can account for this rather retrograde result . Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Luelb | ||
