Description of Parts.: Rear Springs - Wearing plates fitted between spring and roller.
Origin: To overcome knock between sides of spring and roller.
Experimental Test Report: See attached Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW4/LG91220.
Road Test Report: Fitted to 49GB. run 500 miles, appearance satisfactory on examination. No knocks have developed at present.
F.7856/71 to be scrapped on N. Series.-500 Sets.
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock. Alteration effective on future Chassis.
