Dear Ward,

I was very sorry I could not get down on Friday but we all got a little bit overwrought with the war situation and started the Experimental on repairing aircraft engines.

As soon as things ease at all I will come down to London and have a look at the car.

I note that the tubular type seat costs £1. 2. 8d. as opposed to 13/9d. for the Motor Panel seat.

We should like samples of these Accles Pollock seats in some of the cars we are making, but there is no necessity to decide what we want on production until the time comes actually to make something in quantities.

Yours sincerely,
