" Joseph Lucas Ltd. The various motors and dynamos have been considered by Mr Royce during EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 's recent visit, and his opinions obtained. As a result we are requesting you to order for experimental purposes in connection with "Goshawk II" Starter Motor X.4342:- One Special Smith S.S. Motor. One Special C.A.V. S.C. Motor. "Goshawk II" Dynamo X.4359:- One Special Smith 4D Dynamo. One Special C.A.V. 5" Dynamo. One Special Rotax A.T.4. Dynamo. ----------- All the above to be mechanically in accordance with our correspondence and drawings, and also electrically to EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 's correspondence and curves. DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} /THR.
