ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: L.F.C. Order No.: WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}18 Customer's No.: X7690. Nickel Silver contact breaker levers We have now tested four of these levers for 10000 miles (equivalent) on the bench rigs. The condition of the points (tungsten) show that the rivetting is satisfactory electrically and mechan-ically. With regard to the effect of the nitrous oxide produced by the jump spark distributor, we find that beyond slight discolouration this is negligible. One of these levers is on the S.S. engine. Signed: H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
