Re: Front Axle Pivots on Bentley Chassis.

For The Attention of RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

Sr has asked me to drop you a line concerning the conversation which he had with you re the advisability of fitting the strengthened type pivots to the early model Bentley cars as soon as possible.

As you are no doubt aware there are now quite a few "A" and "B" series cars running in France, which have covered a good mileage and it is on these cars that we should like to make the change-over with the least possible delay.

We have received from the Works 16 sets of the new type pivot axles, suitable for "C" series chassis. I understand from Sr that with the addition of certain small parts, "C" series pivot axles can be fitted to "A" and "B" series chassis. Sr mentioned that you are arranging to have sent to us the parts required.

We shall be pleased to learn from you when we can expect delivery.

For your information we shall have to modify about 15 "A" and "B" series chassis.
