F.O. Hickling, Esq.,
Messrs. Ransome & Marles Bearing Co.,Ltd.,
NEWARK-on-TRENT.

Dear Hickling,

I am sending you a set of gearbox bearings, which have run about 20,000 miles. They are now rather rough and noisy, due to the inclusion of foreign matter.

I should be grateful if you could arrange for the drawings to be re-burnished, and let us have them back as soon as possible as they are urgently wanted for another test.

Yours sincerely,
