Raymond Mays, Esq.,
English Racing Automobiles Ltd.,
BOURNE, Lincs.

Dear Mays,

In view of your complaint about the roughness of your car we have had the crankshaft out to examine the new bearings. This, of course, is a big job.

It is going to be a great struggle to get the car ready by Wednesday night. You will appreciate that the car arrived here during the Works' holiday, and I do not get the majority of my Staff back until Monday.

We are going to do all we can, but would like you to appreciate that there is a lot of work to do, and it came at an awkward time.

Yours sincerely,
