Dear Robotham,

I trust that everything is going along satisfactorily with my 4¼ Litre Bentley and that you will have the car ready for me by Tuesday of next week or Wednesday at the latest.

Would you kindly see that all the shock absorbers are working properly, and if possible I should like these to be set so that when they are "full on" they will be rather more effective than standard. I say this because when carrying three people and luggage on the Continental roads at high speeds I sometimes think the damping effect is not quite enough.
