X.2383. 20 HP. DYNAMOS.

Herewith we return to you 20 HP. dynamo 1504, having made the desired observations. As regards performance, we find this machine satisfactory to our present production test with the exception of one or two minor points which are as follows :-
(1) We find the positive brush spring pressure to be rather light, i.e. 11 ozs.
(2) The clearance between the control brush holder and the commutator is somewhat in excess of our limit given.
(3) Commutator end cover fouls oil cap slightly, also drive locking spring ring.
