ROY {Sir Henry Royce} /GEA4/EB19.12.28.

Messrs.Tangyes Limited, advise that they sent us on the 17th instant, two sample Jacks, (one each for our 40/50-HP and 20-HP. Chassis)

They state, in regard to the handle for the small Jack, they would propose to make the joint of this of the same design as that used in the handle for the larger Jack.

We have instructed the Stores to send these Jacks to you immediately upon receipt, and shall be glad to have your report on same at the earliest possible moment, as we are now actually out of stock of the 20-HP. Jacks, and as you are aware, the Michelin Co. have ceased to manufacture same.

ROY. {Sir Henry Royce}
