W/K.{Mr Kilner} KC. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 202 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}15/R.22.1.37. BENTLEY REAR AXLE. Do you know of a customer who can repeatedly fail cages in the rear axle pinion thrust bearing, even when this bearing is of the latest type with lubrication grooves ? If you do know of one, we have a set of parts we should like to try on this car to overcome the trouble. We think the trouble is more prevalent on cars which are never driven fast as we have never been able to reproduce it on our French tests.
