-3- Confirm one way or the other by power with silent tappet action deletion by removal of plunger springs. The idea of above is to see whether the existing std. double springs can be replaced by single springs. Check for bounce and surge with hydraulic tappets out of action. Do not set exhausts at less than .010. (2) Following the bounce tests the bottom tappets to be examined and their condition recorded. These are two fescolised tappet blocks. two Hykro " two S/ZN. cloudburst tappet blocks. Hykro camshaft. (3) Note whether any water leaks with C. and A.{Mr Adams} gaskets. (4) Has R.R.56. big end bearings, standard Hall's A.C.7. main bearings. BENTLEY HEAD. B.9. Oil consumption tests proceeding with - (1) Special block gound in position on case and cylinder head pistons to suit.
