11/3 25 RUE GIDE. LEVALLOIS-PERRET. Seine. France. 6th February 1937. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/4/JAB. To. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Re. K.F. Scholes. Scholes at the present moment is in bed with a strained knee having fallen down when he was out on Thursday night and is incapable of work. I had a talk to him with regard to last week-end, and he states that he misunderstood my instructions. His comments are, when I mentioned to him that he could obtain the train for Châteauroux at 8 o'clock, he confused it with the night boat train from London. For the time being, I propose to leave him in Paris in the charge of Allen to assist them on 6.B.IV. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} ARCHIVES | ||
