BJ1/B11/S/26 11th June 1926 Messrs. Sterns Ltd., Royal London House, Finsbury Square, E.C.2. Dear Sirs: We beg to thank you for your letter of the 9th instant, 7/T. Our difficulty is that a very large number of oil manufacturers ask us to test their oils. From much experience we have found those which are most suitable for our engines. Perhaps it would be useful to our engineers if you could kindly send them a specification of your oil which would better enable them to decide whether the constituents are likely to make it suitable. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED (Sgd.) B. Johnson Managing Director. | ||
