To Mr. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to Ch. # # EPC. ORIGINAL x.3533 x.3945 RE "GOSHAWK I" and II DYNAMO AND BRUSH HOLDERS. RECEIVED Referring to the above, would you kindly note that Mr. Royce would like these to be somewhat altered in design so that they are made entirely of sheet metal. The base of the brush holder instead of being a casting will be made as a sheet metal pressing with a lug bent up at one end for carrying the pigtail connections. The brush socket will be a sheet metal piece having two ears bent round for riveting to the base, and it should have a lug pressed out, pierced by a small hole for carrying the toggle. The toggle will engage with this lug by means of a little fork and pin. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} (Stamp:) D 17 JAN 1921 RECEIVED | ||
