Dear Sirs,

Re: Mr. Sidgreave's New Wraith III.
Body No.4618. Chassis WMB.11.

We have been asked by Mr. Sidgreaves to take an interest in his new Wraith III which you are building for him, with special reference to the all-metal construction and the equipment of a heater and defroster for the screen.

When last we visited you we saw the sheet steel bottom sides of box section, made to suit the existing body brackets and agree that they would appear to be adequate in rigidity and are well worth trying before we go to the complication of new chassis brackets.

We confirm that as much as possible of the panelling will be in sheet aluminium, as on the normal wooden framed bodies, in order that the weight of this body may not exceed that of a similar body with a wooden frame.

It is desired to equip this car with a car heated with a hot-air defroster to the screen. A Smith's "Hadees" heater with defroster blower will be mounted on the back of the dash, and two tubes will lead to the defrosting slots in the screen rail. In order to make a design of this we would be glad if you would send us as soon as possible a section in elevation through the body shewing the dash, the screen rail with wood packing and the capping. The section should be taken vertically through one of the screen rail orifices.

Cont'd.......
